'Kuruvi' is the upcoming of IIayathalapathi Vijay. The mass action hero Vijay plays the titlt role Kuruvi, not as the small and calm bird, but a bird of different flock, This mega venture is produced by Udhayanidhi, the son of Minister M.K Stalin.

The movie is directed by Dharani who has already rocked with this action pack movi Gilli, is now ready to give another terrific big hit by his upcoming venture Kuruvi. The story outlines a cool and quite guy living as a "Kuruvi" in the Burma Bazar area of North Madras, Chennai. One day, "Kuruvi", as a gentleman files to Singapore or Malaysia as a visitor and returns with bootleg items. The rest of the story portrays how "Kuruvi" uses hismaster brain and power to prove his virtuousness.
